Call for abstracts: Better, quicker, lower cost health services

Deadline for abstracts - 21st January 2013 - midnight CET

The European Health Management Association is seeking proposals for oral presentations and posters from researchers, managers and policymakers on the theme What healthcare can we afford? Better, quicker, lower cost health services. They are inviting both research abstracts, presenting the findings from research and evaluation studies, and practice abstracts, presenting the results of management projects and initiatives.

A practical guide to patient safety indicators and dashboards

The morning sessions provide a national update on developments in patient safety, including
the development of national patient safety dashboards. This is followed by a case study based
session on developing patient safety dashboards in your organisation or service with examples
from both an acute trust and a primary/community organisation.
The afternoon sessions focus on case studies of patient safety indicators and dashboards in
practice including sessions focusing on essential improvement areas.
